Ako u dvoranu dolaze tri razredna odjela i ostaje 54 slobodna mjesta, to znači da dolazi 3x učenika, gdje je x broj učenika u jednom razredu.

Broj zauzetih mjesta s tri razreda:
120 - 54 = 66

Dakle:
3x = 66 \Rightarrow x = \frac{66}{3} = 22

Broj učenika u jednom razredu je 22.

Ako dolaze četiri razreda to znači da dolazi 4 \times 22 = 88 učenika.

Broj slobodnih mjesta s četiri razreda:
120 - 88 = 32

Dakle, ostat će 32 slobodna mjesta.
